Opened to the public in May 1996, the Golf de la Forêt de Montpensier is located only 8 minutes away from the centre of Vichy. Its perfect location in central France, in the heart of the Auvergne region, is easily accessible:

- By road, 4 hours from Paris, Bordeaux, Geneva and 2 hours from Lyon
- By air via Clermont Ferrand (45 minutes), St. Etienne (1h30) or Lyon (2h30)

The beautiful course was commissioned by Mark McCormack (IMG) and designed by architects James Engh and Thierry Sprecher and has the well-deserved reputation of being the finest golf course in the region.

Subtly embedded in a magnificent forest of prime oak trees, it has wide, undulating fairways and water features such as lakes and streams that will add a touch of spice to your game.

The 18-hole course is open all year round and is technically challenging for players of all levels. Non-players can relax and breathe in the pure country air.

The Club proposes initiation packages, as well as lessons and training courses. It can also organize friendly matches.

Many tournaments are held throughout the year and the "Semaine des Trophées" in July and the "Grand Prix de Montpensier" in September have become essential dates on the golfing calendar.

Come and discover our traditional French restaurant, with its shaded terrace overlooking the greens. You can eat a quick "golfer's" snack or have a leisurely à la carte meal. We also cater for family events, business seminars or special 'theme evenings'.
